Ladera Ranch
THE HISTORY
About as old as this century, this 4,000-acre master-planned community is located east of Mission Viejo along Antonio Parkway. It is built on portions of the O'Neill, Avery, & Moiso family's 23,000-acre Rancho Mission Viejo cattle ranch which is the largest remaining working ranch in Orange County.
To create a sense of community, Ladera Ranch villages are broken into districts which are then broken into individual neighborhoods. Miles-long Ladera Ranch Trail connects the entire community, as well as much of the 1,600 acres of open space.
With the rugged natural beauty of protected Rancho Mission Viejo lands as a backdrop, life at Ladera Ranch reflects the spirit of the American West while nurturing the best of the contemporary Southern California lifestyle. Our collection of unique villages and intimate neighborhoods is woven together by a network of trails, parks and paseos. Welcome to Orange County's premier master-planned community where a tapestry of classic and modern architectural styles celebrates individuality and an active community intranet links neighbor to neighbor.
